I was watching a C Span interview with MTG and Thomas Massie yesterday, and Mike Johnson has been endorsed by the whole of House Democrat leadership, in their view because his betrayal of the trust placed in him will patently work to demotivate and deflate honest Republican voters, and hand the House back to lunatic Democrats like Hakeem Jeffries.

We learned today that the CIA 100% opposed President Trump, spied on him, and withheld information from him.

There IS a Deep State. The Deep State wants Hakeem Jeffries running the House, Trump in jail, and Forever Wars blossoming everywhere as a beautiful and magnificent source of continual easy profit. I personally am persuaded by the argument made in “Everything is a rich mans trick” that in no small measure the CIA has been coopted by the War Racket to drum up business by starting wars.

Certainly, Ukraine is both big money for us—and Big Money no doubt pays big money to keep the wheels greased—and an absolute horror for Ukraine, which never should have allowed this war to start or continue.

The war on sanity continues, but increasingly the propagandists are having to shift from Agitation Propaganda—“you should be upset about this today”—to Integration Propaganda, which is “there is nothing to see here and pay no attention to that man behind the curtain”; and the latter is hard to achieve without COMPLETE control, which the left wing militarists and fascists do not, yet, have.

Interesting times.

Who actually believes Ukraine can defeat Russia? It’s running out of able bodied men to fight. Money and ammo can’t fix that

I was never convinced by the argument that Russia will plow through Ukraine and on into the Baltics and Poland.

Putin was assured NATO would not expand, but that’s all it’s done for years. Now, Blinken wants NATO on Putin’s front door. We/the west have been provoking Putin, and now we see it’s the Forever War strategy. Qui bono? Not American taxpayers. We have driven Russia into the arms of China and Iran. So stupid. The risks are unthinkable.

The policy in Ukraine makes ZERO sense for Ukrainians. The logic of the war is not the logic of their well being. Not only has a lot of physical destruction occurred but hindreds of thousands have died, and lost the rights of voting and public dissent in the process.

The logic is entirely oriented around MONEY. Money for Zelensky, money for American politicians and mostly money for the War Racket. They can create their own demand, cant they? And its easy. All it takes is time, patience, some money, and the callousness of a sociopath.

“The logic is entirely oriented around MONEY. Money for Zelensky, money for American politicians and mostly money for the War Racket”.

It’s not just money for Zelensky, I suspect his life may depend on remaining an effective pawn of the US warmongering machine. His rise mirrors in many ways that of Ngo Dinh Diem in South Vietnam. In 1954 the CIA instituted a plan to elect a “popular leader” who could defeat Ho Chi Minh’s threatened communist takeover of south Vietnam. Diem was a pudgy 54-year old Roman Catholic aristocrat who spent the previous 3 years in exile at a Catholic seminary in Lakewood New Jersey as an avowed opponent of Ho Chi Minh. After his election in 1955, the US sent over $3 billion in aid during the next 8 years to make him popular with the South Vietnamese, but his popularity began to wane because of corruption and persecution of political enemies. No longer useful as a pawn, President John F. Kennedy all but green lighted Diem’s assassination by CIA backed South Vietnamese generals in the back of an armored personnel carrier in 1964.

Three weeks after Diem's demise, Kennedy was assassinated. According to Walter "Mac" McIntosh, a retired CIA operative who has been a lifelong student of Vietnamese affairs from the time he arrived in Saigon in 1963, "JFK had no plans to engage American ground forces in direct combat with Vietnamese Communist insurgent forces”. Kennedy's successor, Lyndon Johnson had no such reticence and sent increasing numbers of U.S. ground troops into Vietnam throughout his presidency, 54,000 of whom would return in body bags. Perhaps Johnson was cowed into deploying troops by all those “best and brightest” Harvard boys JFK had brought to the White House. Maybe he was smitten by the potential riches he stood to gain. Or, perhaps he suspected that two assassinations within 3 weeks was no coincidence. Lucky for the deep state Blob, we now have a president too senile to consider the implications of his executive actions and does whatever he is told to do.

The GRAYZONE ran a NATO propaganda film outlining its excitement at being able to rebuild the Ukraine as a surveilled 15 minute city in what sounded like a CCP style "workers paradise." The tactic matches that of the recent NATO/EU/WEF desire to seize and shut down the livelihoods of Dutch farmers and build a "modern" cross border city of the same design. Hmmmmmmm--A puppet government, war, chaos, a destroyed economy and a propagandized beaten and confused general population. Sounds familiar.

Putin has had a lot of trouble just with the Ukraine, although he never committed his whole Army. What sane person would think he COULD think taking on the WHOLE of Europe—including the former Eastern Bloc—was a good idea?

NATO exists to keep countries that do not need to be spending on war, spending money on war.

Do you know that a part—a LARGE part—of the treaty stipulates all member nations are REQUIRED to spend a percentage of their GDP on the War Racket? The only POSSIBLE justification for this is Russia. So, can it be any wonder the War Racket is working to stir up trouble with Russia to keep people who are not threatened in any way by anyone, militarily, from asking why the hell they keep spending so much on weapons?

Seen from this perspective, that of greedy sociopaths, all this is perfectly and obviously logical.

I think we all knew the CIA opposed Trump in all ways possible, but its become at this point undeniable even for the doubters.

Whats ODD is that many CIA, and presumably FBI and NSA and others employees of secretive Federal agencies, seemingly GENUINELY believed the story about Russian collusion that Hillarys team concocted. They were deceived. They genuinely thought Trump was a traitor and that breaking the law was not just justified but necessary. No choice.

Here is the thing: in the world if professional liars, you can never be sure who you are REALLY working for. 2016-2020, and both begire and after, for all intents and purposes our intelligence agrncies may have been working for the Chinese. Or the War Racket. Monied interests of all sorts. Just not for the well being, freedom, and prosperity of non-elite Americans. Not in the defense of democracy.

The proposed Congressional hearing to which NPR CEO Katherine Maher has been summoned is a theater. Everyone knows that URI Berliner wrote truthfully and that Chris Rufo reports accurately about her. Anyone who ever listened to NPR knows it’s a far left atrocity.

Congress would be doing right by the country by defunding both NPR and PBS. There is zero need for that hearing.

We desperately need a public hearing summoning the WPATH practitioners and the excellent science reporters on the Cass Report.

This is urgent . The Cass Report is unimpeachable that there exists no credible evidence that transing minors is good for them, and it raises serious reason to question anyone who claimed that there was evidence to the contrary. While I believe adults should be allowed to do as they please with their own bodies, I don't believe there is any convincing study that shows a benefit from medically "transitioning" anyone of any age. In this regard, much of the medical and psychiatric professions have been taken over by ideology rather than by science.

I have to say after being a loyal reader of the Free Press today’s offering was about as bad as it gets! The college campus’s debacle is the only news lately and I’m so sick of reading about spoiled progressive students🤮 Also the article about Barron Trump just crosses the line for me, I know many conservative Republicans and have never heard such stupidity exit their mouths. I will add my two cents in about doing an investigative article about Title IX.

TFP has become the Democratic Party Rehabilitation Project; it's not that they've run out of good ideas, it's that they need to deflect from the crap that's really going on in their name. Expand full comment

There are extremely, insanely rich people in China. The notion of a society where all share equally in the benefits of that society is the myth of Marxism, communism, and socialism. It is the false advertising used to convert followers to the cause. Every single one of them results in very rich people at the top and every one else at the bottom. That is why they lament the 1% here. But the difference is the right idea can catapult you into the 1% here. Witness Gates, Jobs, et al.

CCP isn't really Marxist. Under Mao, there was some element of Marxism being enforced on the (dying of starvation) masses while the economy itself was centrally planned. However at this point, CCP is basically a realization of economic ideas of Fascism as initially conceived by Giovanni Gentile in 1920s Italy -- that corporations are extensions of state power, and only through the fusion of state and corporate power can a nation be strengthened.

Fascism was a rejection of the capitalist notions of prioritizing profit, and a rejection of the Marxist ideals of a centrally planned economy with no corporations at all. It was "capitalism for a greater good" -- in Gentile and Musolini's case, that greater good was the nation if Italy, in Xi Jianping's case, the nation of China, in Larry Fink or Tim Cook's case, social justice and preventing climate change.

What the heck is this about Barron Trump? The kid is 18 years old. So according to the elites in our society, somehow the average 18 year old, even though technically an adult in the eyes of the law, should not be held to an adult standard, but somehow since Barron is 18 it's ok to whatever now?

I still remember when the media went after the Bush twins since they were over 18 and were applauded, but were roundly chastised when people would report on the Obama Girls once they were adults.

Barron becomes fair game if he publicly opens his mouth about anything. Until that time, if it ever happens, he needs to be off limits.

Some people just suck.

Jan 6th style reenactments on campus? You mean summer of 2020-CHAZ-CHOP STYLE reenactments. “Occupy”-style-reenactments. Maybe we’ll see everyone involved thrown in prison to await trial for a a couple years and publicized one-sided congressional Hollywood productions about how evil every single democrat is as an existential threat to “democracy.” Maybe a random cop will falsely claim “shots fired” then kill someone with a real bullet. Someone outside the camp will have a heart attack two days later and will be counted among those who died at the hands of violent, treasonous insurrectionists...maybe having been beaten to death with a fire extinguisher. No? I don’t remember anyone on Jan6th taking land and holding it for days after kicking out the authorities and making demands on behalf of a terrorist organization all under a foreign flag with the stated overall purpose of destroying America, which they all said they hated. I don’t remember that. There did seem to be a lot of video showing compliance, walking inside pathways marked by velvet ropes, shaking hands with cops, offering them water…maybe that’s the comparison?

lol y’all need to recalibrate and account for 2016-2022 before you knew, or would accept, the media machine was wholesale lying to you and manipulating everyone. Can you even do it at this point? You’ve done great since then and have been performing a valuable service, but the scars of years of manipulation still obscure your (honestly, “our”) view.

Yes I definitely agree this whole shit show got more of a CHAZ/CHOP vibe. At the end of the day, it's just the same bunch of agitators moving from Occupy Wall Street to Antifa to BLM and now this. Summer break can't come fast enough so all these toddlers will go home and stop making a scene. In another year or two they'll find something else to throw tantrums about. Regular mob hysteria masquerading as protests is now a permanent feature of America.

I distinctly remember the Occupy Wall Street babies also requesting luxury items like melatonin when asked by reporters what they needed. Now it's not longer request but a demand for humanitarian aid. Two years from now, whatever they'll be mobbing about in the future, they'll expect taxpayers funded spa treatments and an all-inclusive vacation at a resort hotel to recover from their trauma for having to bear the emotional labor of protesting.
