There have been many deaths of comedians I loved. This one hit me hard. Norm was fearless and never pandered to anyone. Jeff, I understand your sadness about Norm not telling people about his battle w/ cancer. But the man was different. That's what we all loved about Norm. He was different. He was empathetic, but was obviously reticent receiving empathy. He had a strong faith. Maybe he didn't need the caring. He knew he was going to be w/ the Good Lord. That's my take.

The Saget Roast was sheer, unadulterated comedic genius, and took gigantic cajones, both of which Norm possessed in abundance.
