The fact that our young people have been captured by this hatred masquerading as wokeness should be a wake up call to every liberal everywhere. Wokeness is no longer just silly nonsense we can look the other way on, it is deadly dangerous nonsense that we must rise up and push back on vocally. The consequences are too dire to let our universities become havens of illiberal hate and other crazy ideas. It’s time to speak up and speak out. The fear of cancellation be damned.

I have yet to hear a world leader say that in order to save Palestinians in Gaza, Hamas should immediately lay down their weapons, release the hostages and surrender. It would save a lot of lives if they did. It’s shameful that the press and world leaders don’t.

Please don't tar all Christianity with the same brush. That would be bigoted. I am in solidarity with you. I have never ever heard preached, in my 68 years, anything like "Jews killed Christ." Now is not the time to trot out that trope because I don't know one Christian or Catholic that is not standing WITH Israel against these atrocities. Look up the heroic saint-priests who were also imprisoned at Auschwitz and died trying to save Jews.

I'm not sure if this type of comment will be welcome here because it is personal and religious in nature, but I was deeply upset by this article so I will speak my mind. I do not disagree with the main premise because I have been sick at heart to see this hatred of Jews. I am a Christian and was raised in evangelical Christian America. My childhood was filled with stories about Israel, God's love for Israel, and prayers for Israel. God will not forsake his people. My community was deeply upset when the Israel was forced to give up the high ground of the Gaza strip. I am not an expert and nowhere near as educated about this topic as the author; however, I can assure you that the notion of "Twisting this is a Christian belief that all Jews were present at, and responsible for, the crucifixion." is not apart of our belief system. Neither Jew nor Gentile understood what Jesus was doing, not even his own disciples. We worship Jesus, who is a JEW. We love Israel and bless Israel, God's chosen people. The enemy hates Israel because God is saving all of humanity through Israel. His promises are never null and void.

At age 82, I have never imagined that Americans could take part in vicious anti Jewish hatred like I have seen and in such numbers. It is appalling.

“Twisting this is a Christian belief that all Jews were present at, and responsible for, the crucifixion. More than Pilate, more than Judas—a name not chosen randomly—the Jews were damned for deicide.”

I am hardly alone in understanding that ‘this Christian belief’ as stated here was and remains a Christian heresy. The Christian churches to which I have belonged over the past 60+ years believe the Jews to be God’s chosen people for whom Christ died - as He did for all of God’s children. To be clear, someone who claims to be a disciple of Jesus of Nazareth while demonstrating hate for Jewish people is a liar!

My heart breaks for Israel and the Jewish community. It is surreal to live through a time where it is crystal clear how propaganda could have convinced some useful idiots to allow their hate to turn into violence, like in the Holocaust.

Seeing the Hamas/Palestine protests makes me feel ill. Families didn’t even have a day for grief after the horrible attack on the 7th before the concern shifted towards Palestinians. Of course, no decent human wants to see innocent people die on either side of this conflict, but I just can’t fathom how some American progressives and Muslims can not comprehend the gravity of the attack and the lack of support for the Jewish community from these groups is sickening.

I’m chilled by what you are writing as I have been feeling this for a week now. How we so vastly overestimated our worth and contributions to society that would prevent this and how we underestimated how close we Jews really are. The wake up call has been around for years. It’s now blatantly back, unmasked and terrifying. College students barricaded in campus libraries is just the beginning. We must now be united as one, we must guard and protect our communities, we are all Israelis. Am Israel Chai

Of course there are antisemitic people, but I actually don't think that's the root of the anti-Zionist protest we're seeing in progressive circles. These are the same people who say all white people are racists and need to be cleansed with DEI training. They are the same people who say trans-women ARE women and tell us to say ridiculous things like "pregnant men". These are the same people who think you should die if you refused to get vaccinated for covid. They are a type. They think they are moral and right and anyone who disagrees with them about these issues is evil and stupid. They take a side and defend it in the face of objective facts that contradict their side. They defend their side even if it drives them to make absolutely outrageous claims. They will not give in no matter how wrong they are because then they have to admit they aren't so righteous and their enemies aren't so evil. These are the people praising the terrorists and siding with Hamas, they have to do it because if they don't side with Hamas, they aren't sticking to the anti-colonialist guns. It would require them to give ground. Their positions drive them to the edge of a cliff and they would rather jump off of it than admit they are wrong.

I listened to a BBC anchor "interviewing" an IDF spokesman this morning on NPR in Boston. Actually, she was lecturing him. Thankfully, he wasn't having it, but patiently tried to explain to her that the IDF isn't trying to kill Palestinians. He then said, probably for the millionth time, that the IDF has no choice but to go after Hamas terrorists when they hide behind Palestinian civilians.

Yet the BBC anchor continued to object to this, without disputing the fact that hiding behind civilians is the Hamas strategy. In fact, she said it is a "common practice" of Hamas "militants" to hide behind civilians, as if that somehow justifies it. And she then insisted repeatedly that the IDF retaliation is "not working." Michael Oren is right. Too many so-called journalists in the liberal mainstream media may listen, or pretend to listen, to the Israeli side, but they will never be convinced.

Stay strong. Millions of Americans know the truth. And Israel must do what it must without apology. JUST GET THE JOB DONE.

You know how these Democrat-funded Palestinian Rapists are known for blowing up pizza shops and then waiting for the ambulances to arrive to detonate a larger secondary blast? This makes me think they might already have the Iranian Suitcase in North Gaza. Just a thought.

Speaking of which, do you think the Los Angeles Times will release the audio of Muslim Communist Barack Hussein Obama, toasting Rashid Khalidi, before or after the aforementioned suitcase explodes?

Also, when the Democrat-funded Iranian suitcase explodes, killing millions, do you think the Global Democrat Left will finally admit that their perverse and psychopathic vision of themselves as magnanimous, pious, and empathetic wizards, who really just love people with brown skin, was actually nothing more than a deceptive ploy to cover up the fact that they were enabling a second Holocaust by behaving like irresponsible pussies?

My analogy about how, when your roommate lets a rabid dog in the house you aren’t really mad at the dog and, while you have to kill the dog first, you also have to beat the shit out of your roommate, continues to be a good analogy.

Nice work Democrats and two-state appeasers.

Don’t forget to show your Jewish and Israeli friends, colleagues, and neighbors love and support. Don’t be afraid to mention it.

The tiptoeing around this issue to not offend “both sides” in the corporate world is demoralizing for our Jewish colleagues. Speak up. You know the easily offended progressives aren’t being quiet.

“Palestinian suffering supplanted that of Israelis beheaded, dismembered, and burnt. It was the gnawing awareness that dead Jews buy us only so much sympathy”

If I was Netanyahu listening to Biden cautioning me to not make mistakes by acting in anger I would have said

“Thank you, Mr. President. I agree, and I would like to caution you, sir, to not shit your pants in front of the Pope and molest your daughter.”

But that’s why I’m not in charge of a country I guess.

I am Catholic. I see what you see. My heart breaks. I left my church in my 30's in a defiant flourish. I remember maybe a few years after that, coming home to my apartment in New York on a Friday night. My neighbors across the hall were having Shabbat dinner, reciting the prayers. I leaned my head against my own door, just listening with a longing and sadness in my heart I couldn't understand at the time, but somehow knew meant everything.

Through miracles and grace, I'm back at my Church of birth, and understand deeply where I come from. Know that there are so many brothers and sisters with you, mourning and standing shoulder to shoulder with all of you. I don't know where we are headed, but we will keep the faith with you through everything.
