Wonder what the Taliban leaders’ pronouns are?

This is a statement of fact. It is counter to the conventional "wisdom" of academic and media elites. But it is a fact. The despised, cruel, stupid, George W Bush gave Afghan women a reason to live w/ freedoms they never had. And kindly, empathetic, Uncle Joe pissed it all away, leaving these women to be raped and imprisoned. Your children's high school history teachers won't teach your kids this "inconvenient truth."

While my heart goes out to these people, I am incredibly angry at our government and, by extension, the people who voted for Biden. Think what you want about Trump, but at least he had a reasonable, measured plan for leaving Afghanistan.

Afghanistan-Plenty of blame to go around - but the buck stops with Biden and his advisors- a national embarrassment that our adversaries will view as rot and weakness and our allies will view with contempt and fear. A failure of strategy, leadership, and planning that will have repercussions for years to come.

20 years to get their shit together. The fact that our pedigreed elites are so shocked by this is a testament to their incompetence. You could have asked any private in the army, after their first deployment there, if this is exactly how things would have ended - no matter how long we were there making the place safer for the ladies - and they’d have said, “duh!” But, ask some senior military official, or that other type of idiot from some Washington think tank, and they’d have said, “just need more time and I promise that Afghanistan will be the very beacon of democracy.” This was 100% predictable and inevitable. Get over it, hope the best for your Afghan friends that are still there. But this country, America, is super fucked up right now and needs our attention. We can’t want democracy for Afghanistan more than Afghans themselves cares bout Democracy. That’s not a plan for success - it’s a plan for exactly what you’re seeing meow - a cluster f*ck of American hubris.

After all the hypersensitivity of the @metoo movement, where is the outrage for the Afghan women who will be consigned to Taliban barbaric orde of rapists??

Imagine walking in to a room to negotiate a nuclear weapons deal with the Iranians tomorrow… imagine trying to broker peace between Israelis and Palestinians next year… imagine moralizing to the Chinese about slave labor and human rights… imagine a more devastating blow to American foreign policy and prestige over the coming years… who will trust us? Who will believe in the power and resolve of the US?

I understand people who voted to get rid of Trump. My sister voted to get rid of Trump. He is annoying.

However, if you voted for Joe Biden thinking it would be a shrewd, wise, dignified return to normalcy, you are in an exclusive club of world-class imbeciles.

My heart is shattering. I love America, but our current administration has no heart, no morals, no goodness. In Afghanistan and Cuba he has left our hearts in our fellow humans to be slaughtered. I love America, but I hate those who claim to have been elected to represent us. Abandoning those who trusted us with their life is the definition of selfish evilness. Today I am ashamed of my government even if I love my country.

The woke imbeciles of the Biden administration are in charge and responsible for these deadly decisions in Afghanistan. Foreign policy? We have no more standing to even say those words. The DNC/media are a silly embarrassment. Will any of them wake up from their fantasy?

Tens of billions went straight into the pockets of the military-industrial complex over 20 years, enough for a Marshall Plan to rebuild the country in our image. No one has even tried to audit where that money went. Our legacy media, now just a lapdog of the Deep State, made no effort. Now the amoral plutocrats and their buddies in the Pentagon and Capitol Hill, now that the gravy train has stopped, will abandon our few friends over there to torture and death. There are no words for my contempt for Washington, its resident deep state, and its enablers today. May they never make more billions off another foreign adventure.

I wouldn’t worry about Afghanistan falling to the Taliban. The wide open southern border is run by smuggling experts and the intelligence agencies are focused on the Proud Boys. We should be fine.

The adults are in charge. With our allies. America is back!!!

President Joe owns this, try as he might to shift the blame. Whatever happened to "the buck stops here?" It would appear that taking responsibility is no longer part of the job. To be clear , Trump bears some responsibility too, but Biden has been president for seven months.

Our credibility on the world stage is gone. The world is now a more dangerous place. Our leaders may be “woke” but are morally bankrupt.

Now is not the time to point fingers and play politics. We must come together as a nation and understand that the world is indeed a dangerous place full of bad actors. Pleading for mercy with religious zealots will never work. G-d help us if Iran or the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan get a hold of nuclear weapons.

My heart absolutely breaks for the Afghan people. This is inexcusable and I find it difficult to believe that we didn't know this was going to happen. It is sickening and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it which breaks my heart.

I am ashamed of my country for the first time in my life. That we have an administration

that places no value on the loyalty and dedication to the ideals we stand for on the part of allies

who helped us in Afghanistan. Shame on the BIden administation for allowing this to happen. It was all so unnecessary. I am literally crying as I view the scene of these desperate, abandoned

friends of our country trying to escape.
